Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed on our official website for products sold under the brand Hem Lifestyle by Hem Lifestyle Corporation (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Delivery locations

We deliver to serviceable PIN codes across India through our courier partners. We currently do not ship outside India. If your PIN code is not serviceable, we will inform you and cancel the order with a full refund of any amount paid.

2. Order processing and dispatch

Ready-stock products: processed and dispatched within 1–3 working days of order confirmation.
Custom Design orders: made to order after your design, size and details are confirmed. Production usually takes 7–15 working days, depending on the product and design. We share the expected dispatch date when confirming your order.
Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays are processed on the next working day.
Cash-on-delivery orders may be confirmed by phone or WhatsApp before dispatch. Orders we are unable to confirm may be cancelled.

3. Delivery timelines

Metro and major cities: usually 3–5 working days after dispatch.
Other locations: usually 5–7 working days after dispatch.
Remote areas, hilly regions and north-eastern states: up to 10 working days.

Delivery timelines are estimates. Delays may occur due to weather, natural events, strikes, regulatory restrictions, festive-season volumes or courier issues. We will keep you informed of any significant delay.

4. Shipping and COD charges

Shipping charges, if any, are shown in the cart and at checkout before you place the order.
Free shipping applies to orders above the value displayed on the website at the time of purchase.
Cash on Delivery (COD) is available on eligible ready-stock orders and PIN codes. A COD handling fee, if applicable, is shown at checkout. COD may not be available above a certain order value or for Custom Design orders, which may require advance payment.
All charges are inclusive of applicable taxes.

5. Order tracking

Once your order is shipped, we share the courier name and tracking number by email and/or SMS/WhatsApp. You can also track your order on our Track Order page using your order number and mobile number.

6. Address changes

Please check your delivery address and phone number carefully before placing the order. Address changes are possible only before dispatch by contacting us. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.

7. Failed or refused delivery

The courier makes up to 2–3 delivery attempts. If delivery fails because the customer is unavailable, unreachable or the address is incorrect, the parcel is returned to us.
Prepaid ready-stock orders: we refund the product amount after deducting the actual forward and return shipping cost.
Custom Design orders: since these are made specially for you, they are not refunded on refused or failed delivery. We can re-ship the order once the delivery charges are paid.
COD orders: the order is cancelled. Repeated refusal of COD orders may lead to COD being disabled for that customer.

8. Damaged or tampered packages

Please do not accept a package that is visibly damaged, opened or tampered with — refuse it and inform us immediately. If you notice damage, a wrong item or a missing item after opening, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and an unboxing video at [email protected] or WhatsApp.
